Lies We Believe #1: No One Loves Me

This is one of the main lies that the enemy of our soul uses to attacks our self-confidence. When I was younger I regrettably believed the enemy and felt like I was alone in the world. I forgot that God blessed me with a wonderful family who loved me no matter what, but most importantly God loved me more than anyone ever could. I could not see past my own failures and downfalls that I thought no one could possibly love such a broken girl like me. Yet God loved but I was too blind to see it. When I was in my darkest moment, that is when God shined a light of hope for me to hold one too. God loves you and me so much that He allowed Himself to be nailed to a wooden cross to take the punishment for my sins that I deserved for me. That type of love that is indescribable.

Everyone longs to be loved and accepted, no matter how some may try

Screen Shot 2018-05-29 at 2.05.24 PMto hide that fact. This deception has led many people to attempt to find love in the wrong places. However, you are loved even if you cannot find it in your own household. Trust me, no one can ever fill that empty space in your heart that only God can complete. Not drugs, food, a partner, or your own personal successes will truly complete you. God loves you no matter what you have done in your life and what you will do in the future. Ephesians 2:4-5 it says

But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ— by grace you have been saved.

Even when we are messed up or sinned, God displays His mercy towards us because He loves us that much. Mercy means “compassion or forgiveness shown toward someone whom it is within one’s power to punish or harm.” He loved us so much that He was willing to die in our place so that we can have a relationship with Him. Who can beat that? Once, we believe in God’s love and allow Him to work within us then we will begin to see His love moving in our lives. Yes, God is always working in our lives but sometimes we are just too blind to see it like I was. But now we never have to feel unloved again, because there is Someone who cares for us.  God wants you. God longs for you to come to Him. God loves you…yes, you. Just receive His unconditional love today.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.”

John 3:16
